Seiko have created this re-interpretation of the watch that featured in the 'Apocalypse Now' film that starred Martin Sheen who played the role of Captain Willard. The watch also has more history attached to it, a re-incarnation of the Seiko 6105 is also known for being worn by Naomi Uemura in 1978, he was the first person to reach the North Pole on a sole mission. The calibre movement is complete with 24 Jewels and a 70-hour power reserve. The mechanism used is an in-house-built 6R35 automatic movement with a manual winding capacity and boasts a water resistance of 200 metres. It also features a domed sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface and provides more protection against from everyday use and repels scratches.
